Admission

Our lab accepts a small number of students each year. Admission is available in both the April and October semesters.

Students typically join through the 5-year doctoral program in the Informatics Course of SOKENDAI (The Graduate University for Advanced Studies), conducted in collaboration with the National Institute of Informatics (NII). Students who have completed, or expect to complete, a master's program may also join as third-year students in the 5-year doctoral program.

Research Supervision

Shuhei Kurita can serve as a sub-supervisor and advise research topics related to the lab.

If you are interested in joining the lab, please contact us by email with a brief description of your research interests and your CV. Any format is acceptable, but please include your academic background and professional experience.

Research Areas

Our research themes include language model applications, vision-language models, vision-language-action models, language and robotics, and real-world understanding from language, among others.

Financial Support

Depending on the research project, there may be good opportunities to be supported as a research assistant (RA).

当研究室では毎年数名の学生を受け入れています。春入学および秋入学が可能です。

総合研究大学院大学の 情報学コース における5年一貫制博士課程（PhD）プログラムとして、 国立情報学研究所（NII） にて実施しています。修士課程修了予定の学生や修了済みの方は、5年制博士プログラムの3年生として当研究室に参加することも可能です（3年次編入学）。

研究指導

栗田は指導教員として、当研究室に関連する研究テーマを指導可能です。

当研究室に興味がある方は、研究上の興味の簡単な説明と履歴書を添えて、メールでご連絡ください。形式は問いませんが、学歴や職歴・研究歴などを明記してください。

研究テーマ

言語モデル応用、視覚言語モデル、視覚言語動作モデル、ロボット基盤モデル、言語からの実世界理解などを扱っていますが、これらに限りません。

RA 支援

研究プロジェクトに応じて、RA として給与を支給できる可能性があります。
